This short Video Notes explainer shows how ideas evolve, travel, and grow once we turn them into something real and share them with others.

Using the journey from a podcast episode to a poem and then a handcrafted zine, it illustrates why shining a light on good work inside organisations encourages creativity, collaboration, and progress.

Ideas that stay hidden don’t spread — ideas that are turned into something, and shared, take on a life of their own.

Ideas rarely move in straight lines. When we create something — a process, a tool, a prototype, a new way of working — and share it openly, we invite others to build on it in ways we could never predict.

This is how value multiplies: one person’s spark becomes another person’s poem, or workflow, or transformative insight.

In organisations, the generous sharing of good work strengthens culture, accelerates learning, and helps ideas travel far beyond their original creators. But none of that happens if we keep our ideas to ourselves.
