On returns and good faith
Cultivated publishes and produces work with care. We extend the same care to refunds and returns, trusting our readers and customers to act thoughtfully. If something isn’t right, we’d rather talk than hide behind policy.
Clarity builds trust, and this page sets out how refunds and returns work across our products and services.
Digital products
For digital products (including courses, downloads, and publications), you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing products@cultivatedmanagement.com.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Once digital files are downloaded, refunds remain available within the 30-day period. We trust buyers to act in good faith and to contact us if something isn’t right.
Subscriptions
You may cancel subscriptions at any time via your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods unless required by law.
Physical products
We want you to be delighted with your order.
If your physical product arrives damaged, defective, or you’re otherwise unhappy, please contact us within 14 days of receiving it at products@cultivatedmanagement.com.
We will either:
- Replace the item, or
- Issue a full refund — whichever works best for you.
Unless the product was damaged during shipping, buyers are responsible for returning items in their original condition and at their own expense.
UK customers have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving goods, unless the item is bespoke or personalised.
Consulting and bespoke services
For consulting, advisory, and bespoke services, refund and cancellation terms are agreed in the relevant contract or statement of work.

How do I request a refund?
Email products@cultivatedmanagement.com with your order details and a brief description of the issue. We’ll reply promptly and aim to make the process straightforward.
How long do refunds take?
Once approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. Processing times vary by payment provider, but typically take 3–10 business days.
Do you offer refunds on downloaded digital content?
Yes. We offer refunds within 30 days, even if digital files have been downloaded. We trust buyers to act in good faith and contact us if something isn’t right.
Who pays for return shipping on physical products?
If an item is faulty or damaged in transit, we cover replacement or refund. Otherwise, buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Can I get a refund on a subscription mid-cycle?
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but refunds for partially used billing periods are not offered unless required by law.
What about consulting or bespoke work?
